Why we like it

Smoky paprika-dusted white fish, crunchy quick-pickled slaw and a cool lime yogurt sauce cover every texture. White fish is a lean source of protein, and the tacos are ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 200g white fish (cod or haddock)
  • 4 small corn tortillas
  • For slaw: ¼ cabbage shredded, 1 carrot, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp honey, salt
  • For sauce: 3 tbsp Greek yogurt, 1 lime, 1 garlic clove, cilantro
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Avocado

Method

  1. Make slaw: mix shredded cabbage and carrot with vinegar, honey and salt. Leave 10 minutes.
  2. Make sauce: mix yogurt with lime, minced garlic and cilantro.
  3. Season fish with paprika, salt and pepper.
  4. Cook fish in olive oil 3-4 minutes each side.
  5. Warm tortillas.
  6. Flake fish into chunks.
  7. Build tacos: slaw, fish, avocado slices.
  8. Drizzle sauce generously.
  9. Serve with extra lime.
