Why we like it

Oats and chia set into a thick, spoonable texture overnight with no cooking, berries add color and tartness, and Greek yogurt adds protein and tang. It is a source of fiber and easy to batch for the week.

Ingredients

  • 80g rolled oats
  • 200ml milk or oat milk
  • 100g mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt

Method

  1. Add oats to a jar or container.
  2. Pour over milk and stir in chia seeds, honey and vanilla.
  3. Top with Greek yogurt and mix gently.
  4. Add berries on top — do not stir in yet.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight (minimum 6 hours, up to 3 days).
  6. In the morning, stir everything together. Add a splash more milk if too thick.
  7. Top with fresh berries and serve cold.
